Entrepreneurial Mindset World Cafe's
Developing an entrepreneurial mindset in universities and commercialising research out of universities are key focus areas when addressing the issue of unemployment and lack of job opportunities across the continent.

Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct, in partnership with Wits University, the University of Edinburgh and the African Circular Network (ACEN) will be hosting 3 World Café events as a method for creating a living network of collaborative dialogue to explore new solutions, insights and opportunities.

We believe that by bringing together individuals representing academia, business, society and government, in an informal café setting, we will be Wiser Together than we are alone!  All the data and information generated during the 3 events, will be captured and shared in a comprehensive report.

About the World Café methodology: The concept is built on the assumption that ... People already have within them the wisdom and creativity to confront even the most difficult challenges and that the answers we need are available to us.   It makes use of an informal cafe setting for participants to explore an issue by discussing it in small table groups. Discussion is held in multiple rounds of 20-30 minutes, with the cafe ambiance intended to allow for more relaxed and open conversations to take place.

Please join us at one of our in-person events on 28 or 29 June (Braamfontein, Johannesburg) or virtually on 6 July 2022.
